A long list makes every item compete for attention. The overdue task, the blocked dependency, and the item that is moving well all look like unfinished work, even though they need different responses.
The short answer
For You is LifeTilo’s personal command surface. It gathers workload signals most likely to affect the current day and gives the user a place to decide the next useful move.
A busy dashboard is not yet a plan
Counts can expose workload, but they cannot decide which consequence matters most. People often react to the newest message while older commitments quietly age. In Progress becomes a comfort label even when movement has stopped.
Common warning signs include:
✓49 overdue items requiring triage
✓14 commitments due today
✓18 records marked In Progress
✓20 items Waiting on Others
How For You converts signals into attention
The dashboard separates overdue, due today, active, and waiting conditions. It preserves task identifiers, owners, statuses, dates, and project context so the user can open the underlying record instead of acting from a summary alone.
1. Scan
Read the workload counts and identify the conditions that changed.
2. Triage
Choose the overdue items whose consequence is real today.
3. Protect active work
Confirm that In Progress records are actually moving.
4. Manage waiting
Review who owes the next move and when follow-up is expected.
5. Commit
Accept or adjust a short plan that fits the available day.
What role does AI play?
Daily Plan can propose a short order of action. Briefing explains where the day stands and what is likely to go wrong. Suggested Moves looks for stale progress, missed reviews, aging dependencies, and missing ownership. Each output should include reasons and remain editable.
A practical LifeTilo example
GEN-115 is in Triage, EXM-101 is In Progress, DEV-112 is Waiting, and INV-101 is To Do. For You makes those conditions visible together. David can protect study time, follow up on the blocked development item, and decide whether the pricing task belongs in today’s capacity.
Why this is different
A typical home screen shows what changed. For You is designed to help the user choose. The distinction matters because attention is the scarce resource, not screen space.
Practical gains
✓A short daily starting point
✓Blocked work separated from active effort
✓Stale status returned for review
✓AI suggestions tied to visible workload signals

Frequently asked questions
Does For You contain every task?
No. It concentrates on the current user’s attention needs. Work remains the broad inventory.
Can I change the AI plan?
Yes. The plan is a proposal. The user can accept, edit, dismiss, or choose another order.
Why is Waiting shown separately?
Waiting still carries follow-up and risk, although the next productive action may belong to another person.
What does Suggested Moves inspect?
It can inspect stale In Progress records, aging waiting conditions, missed reviews, missing owners, and conflicting dates.
Can managers see another person’s For You view?
Any manager view must follow tenant roles and access policy. The personal dashboard should not bypass permissions.
Begin tomorrow with the real board
Open For You, choose one overdue item, one active item, and one waiting dependency. Ask the AI to explain its proposed order, then change the order where your judgment says the consequence is different.
